Cinema's Greatest Scenes starring...You!
Whether it's the final twist in The Usual Suspects or Jaws first shark attack, everybody has an opinion on cinema's greatest moments.
Now UK film directors and University of Derby experts are looking for one movie buff to help complete their list of the 'Top Ten Greatest Cinema Scenes', with a great film-themed prize for the winning suggestion.
Nine films have already been chosen by University experts and British directors Steven Sheil, behind 2008 horror film
Mum & Dad and Chris Cooke, whose 'alcoholic comedy'
One for the Road was highly praised by The Independent newspaper and others. The panel wants you to complete their Top Ten by suggesting another classic moment from cinema they can add to the list.
Moments from Hitchcock's Psycho, the 1933 original of King Kong and film noir The Night of the Hunter, starring Robert Mitchum as a psychopathic preacher, have already made the list for the free public screening. The event

The event has been organised by University Film Lecturer and writer, Tom Craig an
d the Creative Exchange which run short film making and editing courses.
Tom said:
"Any film buff will have had this conversation at some time. Just what are the best ever film moments?
Now here's a chance for someone to not only help create a definitive list but tell an audience of fellow film fans why they think it deserves to be up there on the screen."
In addition to the films screening there will be a chance to see some of the film production work of the University's students, including a complete built 'set'.
